Reporting to the Senior General Manager and supervising a staff of between 10-30 individuals, the Manager is responsible for the overall store operations. Managers make decisions that directly affect sales performance. Their goal is to ensure maximum profitability and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: provide exceptional guest service and memorable experiences while optimizing sales. Seeking out guest feedback and resolving guest challenges in a timely and efficient manner
- Sales & Business Development: building a profitable location. Understanding profit and loss statements and how they affect business
- Floor Management: Effectively lead the floor to achieve operational objectives and sales goals through employee coaching and team huddles
- Staff: Hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, developing & promoting, compensating and terminating
- Retail Merchandising & Ordering: Overseeing merchandise operations in the store to create purchase opportunities. Oversee all ordering and inventory
- Administrative: Understanding and maintaining basic administrative systems and their components including our service bookings, sales transactions, cash balancing, scheduling and payroll
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years in retail, hospitality or sales manager experience
- You LOVE people! Are energized and passionate about your team and building the best salon brand in the world!
- You have a flair for selling and an ability to teach others the skill of sales and product knowledge in a fun and uplifting way
- Proven ability to grow overall location sales, which is substantiated in you previous employment
- You are a fashionable, big picture thinker with self-initiative and awareness as well as a role model to your peers
- Strive for excellence in every aspect of doing business with a keen ability to anticipate and problem solve
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of management and convey directions in a clear and concise manner
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multi projects and competing priorities
- You have the ability to maintain and handle confidential information with discretion and are competent with progressive discipline
- You are available and flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays and other special events according to the business needs
- Have excellent operational skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and have a laptop or PC at home
