The Ethical Pricing Philosophy means we do not follow suggested retail prices and base our selling prices solely on prices paid at the time of purchase…prices are often up to 30% less than competing salons.

Environmental Leadership and the MEGABUCK Recycling Program

Recognizing the amount of packaging used in the beauty industry, the MEGABUCK Recycling Program was launched in 1997 to reduce post-consumer waste and to contribute to creating a positive impact on our environment. Guests were encouraged to bring back their empty plastic and glass beauty-related containers in exchange for MEGABUCKS, which could be redeemed towards future professional product purchases. During the run of the program, over 600,000 beauty related containers were recycled (roughly the size of three NHL hockey rinks lined up back-to-back) and over $600,000 given away in MEGABUCKS!

Due to the Blue box now available to households in most municipalities, beauty related containers are now recycled at home due to convenience.

The MEGABUCK RECYCLING Program was terminated in September 2010.

Zennkai continues to practice environmental leadership by encouraging the purchase of litres which not only saves money, but creates less post consumer waste. Zennkai is also retailing more and more environmentally friendly products as more manufacturers create products that are not only good for the environment, but are able to be recycled to create future packaging and other goods.

POLICIES

Delayed Arrivals - We do ask that you arrive prior to your scheduled appointment, giving enough time for you to get checked in, to assure you receive your full Megahair Salon experience. We do our best to accommodate late arrivals, although it will likely result in reducing treatment time so the next guest is not delayed.

Cancellations - We respectfully request that 24-hour notice is provided when canceling your reservation.

Credit Cards - We require a 2nd piece of picture ID for credit card purchases. This is an additional security measure to better serve you our guest.

Returns & exchanges - NO REFUNDS, exchanges only. It is our pleasure to exchange product with a proof of purchase within 14 days of the purchase date. Proof of purchase can either be an ethical price sticker and or receipt. The Megahair Family will not return products for cash refunds for any reason. Appliances, nail polish and brushes are FINAL SALE.

Price Matching-Guaranteed Lowest Pricing Policy - If you find a current, original Zennkai professional salon product (same packaging, barcode and size) at any competitor salon or spa, drugstore or discount department store, Zennkai will stand behind its Guaranteed Lowest Pricing Policy by matching the price and beating it by one MEGABUCK ($1). << CLICK HERE to read Presidents message

Plastic Bags - Effective April 1st 2011, plastic bags will cost 5¢ to purchase. Help us reduce the volume of plastic bags by encouraging use of reusable bags. Please remember to bring your reusable bag next time you shop with us! Please recycle plastic bags when no longer usable.

Gift Cards - The Megahair Family gift cards can be redeemed for products & services within any location, salon or spa. Gift Cards can not be redeemed for cash & are non refundable. There are no service fees & it will never expire!

U.S. Currency - We do not accept U.S. $50 or $100 bills. Sorry for any convenience.
